One Question Politicians Should Be Forced to Answer

Over the past 100 years, particularly since the 1950s, our government has gradually and increasingly trampled on the concepts, provisions, and governmental limitations set forth in the U.S. Constitution.

Therefore, there is but one vital question that every candidate for Congress/Senate/Presidency should be FORCED to answer.

Can you guess by now what that question is?

A Foreshadowing of Things to Come?

Read this leaflet carefully, as it may save your life or the life of a relative or friend.

In the next few months, personnel and facilities of some or all of the governmental agencies at the local, state, and Federal level listed below will be attacked and destroyed by free American men and women. Those personnel and facilities have been built and used over the past decade to deprive Americans of their basic human rights, including the right to be free from unreasonable arrests, searches, and seizures. The operations of these personnel and facilities violate the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. As such, we are determined to destroy the totalitarian vermin who have placed their interests ahead of their fellow Americans, as well as all of the tyrants' tools possessed by those traitors.

This is an adaptation from a series of leaflets the U.S. sent out to Japanese citizens prior to the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Some believe the day is coming when patriots will be warning fellow citizens of the dire circumstances to come, unless government immediately ceases its assault on our liberties and the Constitution.

Vanderboegh: NRA Losing Its Fire Power

In response to a newspaper writer, Mike Vanderboegh has written a letter suggesting that not only is the NRA losing its firepower, but that this may actually endanger gun-grabbers more than anyone else.

The mode of operation over the last few years on the part of both the NRA and the GOP is cause for some alarm. Too many deals have been cut with too many shady characters who have too many plans to undercut Constitutional rights.

In addition, the Press is going to be in deep trouble is if dares write anything that goes against 'the party line.'

As we all know, those who will throw 2nd Amendment rights under the bus will not think twice about throwing 1st Amendment rights under there as well.

Second Amendment News Roundup for 3/11/08

Focusing on guns and politics, here is today's Second Amendment News Roundup:

For those who wish to attend the oral argument in the D.C. vs. Heller case on March 18 at the Supreme Court, the Volokh Conspiracy has an informative post on when to show up:

As it turns out, biofuel is not so eco-friendly, at least not in the production of it. Volokh has the story:

Eugene Volokh opines on why Hillary is so silent on the Spitzer prostitution ring scandal in New York:

John Lott has discovered the expected media bias in the coverage of Governor Spitzer's scandal--two of the three major broadcast networks failed to identify Spitzer as a Democrat. You know as well as I do that had he been a Republican, they would have been all over it:

Traction Control has a brief but extremely important reminder on 2008's 'Buy a Gun Day':

This is an unmitigated outrage. Uncle reports that the Feds have threatened fellow gun blogger David Codrea at The War on Guns. They also apparently threatened Ryan Horsely at Red's Trading Post as well. Read the whole enraging horse shit here:
http://www.saysuncle.com/archives/2008/03/11/feds_threaten_blogger/

Uncle has another one that simply makes my skin crawl with rage. A Judge has told a news reporter that she cannot get financial help to pay her court costs. Of course, this means the Judge is trying to force testimony, which I thought was against the law. Read all about this menace to society here:
http://www.saysuncle.com/archives/2008/03/11/speaking_of_threatening_rights/

Here is David Codrea's post on the Feds' threat to his right to free speech:

Read the rest of the info here:
