Censorship

A central mode of operation on the part of the modern Far Left in this country is to attempt to silence opposition. We see it in the Obama administration, the Democratic Congress, the mainstream media, and in any number of arenas.

What about the attempt to censor opposing points of view on the Internet? This is the subject of my column today at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

Learn about how some on the Far Left are conducting a coordinated effort to censor Examiner articles like mine.

Read and share with friends. And thank-you for your help in spreading the word about this.

While formal censorship is definitely being considered by various politicos the main thing that I have seen is an attempt to "brow beat" anyone with an opinion that is contrary to the wishes of the authoritarians, left or right. As a group,we need to do precisely what you suggested. Fight back at any attempt to muzzle freedom of expression.

Yes, the browbeating is certainly part of the overall strategy to thwart independent, critical thinking and speech. And it is very dangerous.
