By a vote of 75-21, Eric Holder was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as Obama's Attorney-General. Time to bend over, drop 'em, and grab 'em. We now have the single most dangerous, extremist Attorney-General in the history of the U.S.
21 Republicans voted against this hideous choice. Every vote against Holder was cast by GOP Senators.
Here are their names: Barrasso, Brownback, Bunning, Burr, Coburn, Cochran, Cornyn, Crapo, DeMint, Ensign, Enzi, Hutchison, Ihofe, Johanns, McConnell, Risch, Roberts, Shelby, Thune, Vitter, Wicker.
These Senators are to be applauded and congratulated on their courageous stand for principle.
Along with the votes of every single Senate Democrat in favor of the Holder confirmation were the votes of 19 turncoat Republicans: Alexander (R-TN), Bennett (R-UT), Bond (R-MO), Chambliss (R-Ga), Collins (R-ME), Corker (R-TN), Graham (R-SC), Grassley (R-IA), Gregg (R-NH), Hatch (R-UT), Isakson (R-GA), Kyl (R-AZ), Lugar (R-IN), McCain (R-AZ), Murkowski (R-AK), Sessions (R-AL), Snowe (R-ME), Specter (R-PA), Voinovich (R-OH).
Every single one of these numbskulls should be sent back to where they came from in the next election. Do you hear that, LINDSEY GRAHAM!?
So now, thanks to the Democrats and their turncoat Republicans, we have an Attorney-General who pardons terrorists and supports measures to rob citizens of the right to bear arms.
Way to go, 'gentlemen.'

A No-Brainer on Holder
It is a no-brainer that Eric Holder will be a disaster for gun rights as the Attorney-General of the United States.
It is also a no-brainer that his confirmation as Attorney-General by the U.S. Senate is virtually a foregone conclusion, I am sorry to say.
Holder picked up some key 'conservative' support when Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama threw his hat into the ring, informing the Senate Judiciary Committee that he will be voting in favor of the nominee.
This announcement came on the heels of news that Arlen Specter and Orin Hatch also stated their intentions to support Holder.
We can expect RINOS such as John McCain and his underling, Lindsey Graham, to follow.
Thus, the prospects of stopping Eric Holder from becoming our next Attorney-General are next to nil. It is virtually assured that every single Democratic Senator will vote in favor of Holder. And, even if no more Republicans vote in favor of him than the ones cited above, his confirmation will sail through the Senate.
It would be a big mistake to lump all GOP Senators in one basket on this issue. We can count on Senator Jim DeMint, R-SC, Senator David Vitter, R-LA, and Senators Jim Inhofe and Tom Coburn of Oklahoma to vote against Holder.
There will be others, no doubt.
But the fact remains that due to the present makeup of the U.S. Senate, which is solidly under the control of liberal Democrats, the country is going to be saddled with an Attorney-General who at best has a cavalier attitude toward Constitutional rights.
