Many erroneously cite Donald Trump as the instigator of voter ire regarding the failure of Barack Obama to enforce the law when it comes to those who enter and stay in the United States illegally. The facts, however, show a growing discontent bordering on rage on the part of most citizens toward immigration policy. That rage has been simmering beneath the surface for at least a decade. Trump merely tapped into the discontent that was already there among the citizenry."
