Texas rancher fears for life and family

The crisis at the southern border of the United States has now reached a critical stage as ranchers in Texas fear for their lives and that of their families. Obama's policies and that of the Democratic Party as a whole has without doubt created the mess and the danger. Our borders are wide open. Looks like it ain't happening tonight, my friends...

As I stated earlier, I had intended to write a new Examiner article this evening. But as they say, "The best laid plans of mice and men..." My good intentions did not have the result I had hoped.

In short, I got detained while I was out, and the clock kept ticking away until now it is too late to write an article, provide links, post it, and then promote it on social networking sites. So, there will be no article tonight. Sorry about that.

I do have intentions of writing an article tomorrow. Don't want to go two days in a row without posting anything new. Thanks for your patience, and I will see you tomorrow.

Well now, if this isn't a splendid way to start an afternoon

I can tell my eyes are improving, so that's good. But as for the rest of my carcass, that is an entirely different matter. I think some of the meds make me feel bad. Today, terrible.

But, I can't afford to stop. I have things to do, responsibilities to fulfill, etc, etc. And the show must go on, sick or not.

Soooo, I will be back online this evening, hopefully to write an Examiner article to be published tonight. So be watching.

So much is going on all at once that sometimes it is hard for me to decide which subject to delve into. Sometimes having too many choices is worse than having no choice, or only one choice. I want to write about it all, but that is humanly impossible.

But, as always, I will make a choice and hold forth on one of the pressing issues of the day. Thanks for dropping in, and thanks in advance for dropping in later to see if I got my Examiner article posted. I appreciate the support of all of you.

Professor says higher education in US at tipping point

 Excerpt:
...the current system of higher education in the United States is imploding under the weight of dozens if not hundreds of alternative choices that do a much better job at preparing students for the workforce and cost only a fraction of what universities charge their students for degrees that may do nothing more than build a bridge to nowhere.

Stossel says EPA on spree to grab private property

As if we did not know already, Fox Business Network personality John Stossel reported on his weekly Thursday night show that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is currently on a spree to grab private property. The agency is using its rules and regulations on wetlands and waterways to seize property, informing the owners they no longer have a legal right to possess land or water on their own property.
