Common sense and straight talk sorely needed

Something is terribly wrong with our government and the citizens who vote year after year to keep them in office. Common sense is desperately needed, and straight talk needs to ensue as a result.

In southern Nevada a rancher who merely wants to earn a living and be left alone is called a "domestic terrorist" by the Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, D-Nev. Reid further called all who support this rancher "domestic terrorists."

Now for the common sense and straight talk. It is Sen. Reid and all of his cronies who think like him who are the domestic terrorists, and here's why.

Reid: People who support Bundy are 'domestic terrorists'

As the Examiner has already noted previously, U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., Senate Majority Leader, referred to rancher Cliven Bundy as a "domestic terrorist." But Reid has now included anyone who supports Bundy in that wide swath of malicious and deadly character assassination.

What a week

Evening, folks. This has been quite a week. I haven't been able to keep my promises about the Roundup, but circumstances have made it impossible. A lot -- and I emphasize A LOT -- has been going on here, not to mention the struggle with allergies. This year has been one of the worst with regard to allergens due to the prolonged cold weather and the quickness with which flowers and vegetation bloomed when temps warmed up. This put a lot of stuff in the air.

But the main thing is the investigative work I've been doing on several fronts. There are things I wanted to check out myself so that I would have the information first hand. The Bundy situation is one of those. But more importantly, I wanted to try to find out what government insiders who share the same concerns as the patriot resistance are saying. This enables us to know what's going on behind the scenes.

This evening I will do an Examiner article, but I need the full support of readership. These are not peripheral matters but they go to the very heart of a free society, which is now being attacked with the full force of the leviathan government apparatus. They have not started shooting yet. But this is far from over. I hope and pray that they will reconsider what they've been thinking and back off.

Much more about this is in the Examiner article I will post in a bit.

Patriots form human shield around Bundy family

Federal agents made a spectacle out of their retreat from the scene of the standoff between government forces and Nev. rancher Clivan Bundy, family members and friends, and supporters who went to Nevada to support him. But immediately reports began circulating that the Feds were merely regrouping to conduct another assault, this time on the Bundy home itself. Word then came that Patriot groups planned to form a human shield around the Bundy family in order to protect them from any attempt by the Feds to use lethal force against them.

Yes, I'm here

I'm here but just distracted. Things should get better once the Easter music is done this coming Sunday, and I get a bit of rest.

I will still be here writing away, but my schedule is way off. I should have a Roundup ready for tomorrow, or Thursday. But if not, then just know I tried.

Things will be back to normal soon.

Now, wait a minute or two and I will have today's Examiner article posted. As always, thanks for reading.

Sources on Nev. land grab: 'This is far from over'

Excerpt:
When federal agents from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) decided to stand down in their confrontation between rancher Cliven Bundy, his family, and over a thousand supporters, it was assumed that the Bundys had won and the Feds were withdrawing in defeat.

While the stand down was indeed a victory for those who support Cliven Bundy in his bid to continue using land his family has used for over a century, from the start there were developments that did not add up or make sense.
