Every now and then the truth has a way of escaping the lips of government officials and support personnel even as they feverishly try to hide it. In this case the subject was Obamacare and the accidental truth teller was a healthcare exchange specialist who is working to create the exchanges that are an integral part of the new healthcare law.
According to The Market Ticker, Cheryl Smith of Deloitte Consulting in New York stated the following on why health insurance is necessary:
"It's really to protect your assets. When you're young, you don't have assets. You don't worry about it."
