When Obamacare was passed by Congress, which at the time was controlled by Democrats in both the Senate and the House, the new legislation did not receive a single Republican vote.
My, how times have changed.
In spite of the fact that Obamacare has grown more unpopular with the public than it was when it was first passed, Republicans, or at least the RINO leadership establishment, has gone in the opposite direction. GOP leaders in the House and Senate maintain that although they supposedly remain opposed to the monstrosity healthcare legislation, they support funding it because "it is the law of the land."
