For several hours today, the acting commissioner of the IRS was grilled by a House committee concerning the scandal during which the agency targeted conservative groups for harassment and delays.
A highlight of the hearing was the questioning of IRS Acting Commissioner Steven Miller by U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa., during which Kelly ripped into the agency for its unethical and possible criminal activity in targeting Tea Party groups, conservative evangelical Christian groups such as the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and pro-Israeli organizations.
