The Hill, the political publication of record that exclusively covers national politics in the nation's capital, produced a slanted news story today which uses Obama campaign talking points to blast Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
Instead of focusing on the factual information contained in Romney's statement that 47 percent of Americans do not pay taxes -- a fact that is beyond dispute -- the paper chose to spin the story as a negative for Romney, citing a few unnamed Republican "strategists" as their sources.
The paper further cited some of the most liberal leaning Republicans in the country as "proof" that Romney's statement is a negative.
