Issa might not have votes to pursue contempt charge against Holder

An article published by The Hill on Tuesday indicates that U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., might not have the votes to pursue contempt charges against Attorney General Eric Holder.

Issa chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform that has been investigating the role of Holder and the Justice Department in the Fast and Furious scandal that has rocked the Obama Administration.

Holder has been under fire ever since he refused to cooperate with the Issa committee. Hundreds of subpoenaed documents have been withheld from the committee by Holder, documents that Issa says are necessary to conduct the investigation.
