Gruesome murders indicate worsening drug cartel violence

Friday was the deadliest day yet in the drug cartel wars near the southern border in Mexico as 23 people were found dead in a gruesome outbreak of violence.
Fourteen headless bodies were discovered stuffed inside a van near the Mexican city of Nuevo Laredo, which is located just across the border from Laredo, Texas. Nine more bodies were found hanging from a bridge along a major highway in the area, much to the horror of motorists.
The heads of the fourteen found in the van were stuffed into ice boxes and left outside of city hall in Nuevo Laredo, one mile from the U.S. border.
