Growing jihadist presence in Mexico causes alarm

In 2009 a Muslim cleric who is associated with extremist elements within Islam stated that given the porous nature of the southern border of the United States, a jihadist could easily smuggle a briefcase full of anthrax into the country that would kill at least 330,000 Americans in one hour.

The cleric, Abdullah al-Nafisi, is a Kuwaiti dissident who made a recruitment video used by al Qaida to motivate young Muslims to become involved in the jihad being waged in Mexico against the United States.

According to a report in Front Page Magazine on Tuesday, al-Nafisi may have succeeded. One of the greatest threats to the United States currently, which is being swept under the rug by the Obama Administration and the mainstream media, is the growing jihadist presence in Mexico, particularly near the southern border.
