Backlash begins over rampage against conservatives

Today there is evidence that the rampage against conservatives during the past week in response to Rush Limbaugh's sharply worded criticism of Sandra Fluke, the law school student who advocated for free birth control, has resulted in a backlash.
Limbaugh had stated on his radio show that Fluke had made a prostitute of herself by allowing Democrats in Congress and the Obama Administration to use her as a paid shill for free contraception, free abortion pills, and other healthcare provisions the Administration is attempting to force on religious organizations.
Immediately liberals attempted to make political brownie points, misconstruing Limbaugh's words by claiming that the talk show host had called Fluke a 'whore' and a 'prostitute.' The critics conveniently failed to provide the context in which the words were used.
Advertisers on the Limbaugh radio show began to pull their ads in protest, including such well known names as Carbonite, Legal Zoom, AOL-Huffington Post, Quicken Loans, Sleep Train, Sleep Number, ProFlowers, and Citrix, among others.
