Truth in the Midst of Error--What the Bible ACTUALLY Says about the End of Time

Time to rebuke some common errors about the end times--from the Bible itself and from Jesus Himself.

Read all about it at Martin Christian Ministries.

These misguided souls make Christianity a laughing stock of the world. But remember, Jesus NEVER said what these people are saying. Read on for the background.

To whom does the land belong? An historic perspective on the Mideast

Go back far enough in history and one can find that at one time all races, ethnic groups, etc. were barbarians. Due to circumstances that often had more to do with where an ethnic group was located than anything else, some groups of people advanced toward civility much more quickly than others.
Thus, the following observations are not based upon race or ethnic superiority. We all have skeletons in the closet whether we be white, black, brown, or whether we be Christian, Jew, or Muslim.
The issue of 'who the land belongs to' in the modern age is a complicated one. A case can certainly be made that caucasians took land in North America from Native Americans. Does this mean, then, that the 350,000,000 people living in the United States and Canada must be uprooted and sent elsewhere? The logistics of such a preposterous notion boggles the mind.

Second Amendment News Roundup for 5/20/2011

All guns and politics from the best gun rights and liberty bloggers on the Internet.

Vanderboegh reports today that despite demands from the ATF that the DEA return the firearms they seized from the agency in Arizona, the DEA has refused. This is big news, indicating that the ATF-DOJ Project Gunwalker scandal is getting major attention. Could this be due to Charles Grassley and Darrell Issa who are hot on the heels of Holder and the Obama Administration?

And now for the bad news. David Codrea says that the local CBS affiliate in Texas has done nothing but parrot the ATF line (lies) and ignored the Project Gunwalker scandal altogether. Man, now, THAT THERE is some real journalism, ain't it? Thanks local CBS news affiliate in Texas!!!

WRSA says to read it and weep. Obama share his delusional world-view and bring the world to the edge of Armageddon.

Tam issues some well-deserved snark on a CNN news story about the environment and electric engines.

Breda points to info on a gun that takes a photo each time you fire off a round.

The Wandering Minstrel has more reaction to the 'Obamination.'.

Newbius says that 'da missus' decided on a gun that fits her hand and feels comfortable. He has a photo.

GunRights4US reports that the 'jackbooted gub'mint thugs' tore up part of his beautiful yard. This was years ago. Look what happened next. We used to be able to do that.  But now?  SWAT teams!

Mike McCarville relays the result of a poll showing the Oklahomans are overwhelmingly against guns on college campuses. Disturbing--especially in a state like Oklahoma!

Alphecca notes that a medical marijuana user in Oregon was allowed to keep her gun by the state Supreme Court.

Roberta X comments on several items, including the latest numbskullery taking place in Indiana.

From Days of our Trailers: :Traitors and Insurrectionists. Every Last One.'

Is She In? Palin Says She Has 'Fire in the Belly'

In an interview on Fox News, Governor Sarah Palin stated, 'I have fire in the belly'--a term politicians and news reporters often use to assess whether or not a potential candidate is ready for the Presidency.
While Palin stopped short of throwing her hat into the ring, she is sounding more and more like a Presidential candidate these days.
According to the interview conducted by Fox and reported this morning in Real Clear Politics, Palin said.........

Not Even the Gates of Hell....

A stark, to the point, and serious warning is featured in tonight's scripture, prayer, and song over at the ministry site...one that is most relevant to what we are now experiencing with regard to Obama, the Mideast, Israel, and the United States.

A wise man will not discount nor ignore this warning.

Read it at Martin Christian Ministries.

A day of reckoning is on the way by August, if not before then.

Mideast war is inevitable says expert

With swiftly occurring events in the U.S. and the Middle East and an Administration that has chosen to do nothing but fuel upheaval in the region by supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, and by extension Hamas and Hezbollah, it appears that war in the area is inevitable.
Barack Obama made a speech today that essentially gives the blessing of the U.S. government to what is known in Arab circles as 'the Arab Spring,' which amounts to support for a Muslim caliphate that would extend from Libya all the way to Pakistan and beyond.
Obama wants Syrian President Assad out and a new government, presumably along the lines of what is happening in Egypt, ushered in--all of which has resulted not in freedom but more oppression and persecution of Jews and Christians under the Muslim Brotherhood. The President's vision for the region is that not only Syria and Egypt but Libya, Tunisia, Bahrain, and Yemen be given U.S. support in terms of trade deals and bucket-loads of U.S. dollars.

Second Amendment News Roundup for 5/18/2011

All guns and politics, from the best gun rights and liberty bloggers on the Internet!

David Codrea says that Joe Lieberman has called for more power for the ATF and is aiding and abetting the stonewalling on the Project Gunwalker scandal.

Around O-Town is thoroughly disgusted at what he's seeing in law enforcement in an Arizona county.

Kurt Hofmann informs us of some rather dirty and underhanded tactics of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence when it comes to gun rights activists. Take a look.

Breda reports that trendy New York City chicks are going shooting instead of shopping these days.

Vanderboegh says that the Congressional proctologists are getting ready to examine the now-infamous internal memo from the ATF in the Project Gunwalker scandal.

Daily Mail: 'Unflippingbelievable' ObamaCare wavers to Pelosi

One of the major newspapers of record in the U.K. is reporting the story of the high number of ObamaCare wavers issued to Nancy Pelosi’s California Congressional district, to which Governor Sarah Palin reacted by exclaiming ‘unflippingbelievable ’
The wavers exempt certain businesses, labor unions, and large corporations from having to implement the new healthcare mandate for one year. Extensions are available yearly until the year 2014. Obama and company have been busy handing out these wavers, to the tune of 204 doled out in the month of April alone. 38 out of the 204 were given to Obama-friendly nightclubs and restaurants in Nancy Pelosi’s district, despite the fact that it was Pelosi who along with Harry Reid and Barack Obama were adamant about shoving ObamaCare down the throats of the citizens although the new law was and still is highly unpopular.

Newt shoots himself in both feet

In two stunning developments in the short candidacy of Newt Gingrich, Newt has managed to shoot himself in both feet. For someone who is as intelligent and articulate as Gingrich, such faux pas are difficult to understand.
First, Gingrich claims that he supports mandated healthcare for all Americans although his plan is 'not like Obama's.' Sorry, but such a statement is double-speak. The healthcare mandate is the centerpiece of ObamaCare and is the root of all of the opposition and controversy surrounding it. Thus, Newt's plan, though it may be different in many of the details, still mandates that all citizens purchase healthcare, meaning, of course, that his plan is not really that much different from Obama's.
Conservatives seethed.

Second Amendment News Roundup for 5/17/2011

All guns and politics, from the best gun rights and liberty bloggers on the Internet.

David Codrea suggests that judge's ruling in California against concealed carry may result in a catch-22 for California gun owners.

Kurt Hofmann has news on the man who is affectionately known on the Liberty Sphere as 'the Bastard'--New York Mayor Michael Bloomburg who wants to stick his nose in other states and cities with no authorization to do so--it seems Missouri has proposed legislation that would kick the arrogant Bastard out of the state.

Vanderboegh says that the ominous NEA--the National 'Education' Association, which is more like a propaganda tool--is recommending to school districts that they add Saul Alinsky's books to the reading material for students. Folks, please, watch your kids' educational material very closely. They are being brainwashed by public schools. If you see something like this, raise holy cain with the administration and teachers!

WRSA has Geert Wilders' stark warning to America.  If you don't read this then you, sir, are a rotten Commie pinko.

Breda posts a video depicting 'chicks with guns' in a clip from 'One Shot' featuring Eliza Dushku.

Nicki points out some good news in politics for a change.

Pamela Geller reports that Newt Gingrich has shot to shreds his political aspirations, resulting in the rise in the status of Rep. Paul Ryan, whom Newt ripped to shreds--erroneously, I might add.

Traction Control has guns, guns, guns!  All kinds. He also points to a link that has a post with words to go along with the picture.

Roberta X provides another reason that Governor Mitch Daniels has 'FAIL' written all over him.

Red flags that give conservatives the jitters

Many conservatives are presently beset with a case of the jitters. Several red flags have come into view as the GOP primaries are less than a year away, and the 2012 Presidential election moves ever closer.
First, conservatives worry that the Republican Party will once again cave to the northeastern liberal establishment and select what has become known as a 'RINO'--Republican in Name Only. The fact that the most liberal daily newspapers in the country play up the candidacy of these persons is in itself even more cause for alarm....
