Well, this is not good, but so far I am not worried about it...of course, that could change

Okay, just a personal word here to my faithful readers and online friends.

Returned from the doctor earlier this afternoon with news that isn't so good, but not devastating. No, I do not have cancer or anything imminently lethal.

But a new issue has arisen that was not there before. Most of the time these things can be handled successfully with medications. Sometimes it requires a surgical procedure that is considered by most today to be 'minor,' whereas 30 years ago such a thing was a major threat to one's life.

By either tomorrow afternoon or Monday we should know the extent of the problem and have a little better idea about where to proceed from here.

No, I am not getting ready to kick the bucket, and no, I am not cutting back. I will continue to work as I always have. I love what I do, and I have no plans to quit. Why would I quit when I'm having the time of my life?

As I said, most people who suffer with this can lead a fully normal life with a few adjustments here and there. So, I am not worried at all at this point. Of course, that could change in a hurry if he calls and says, 'Man, you need to get down to the hospital pronto and get prepped for surgery.'

But, I will not worry about that, either, mainly because from experience I know that most of what I worry about never happens. So, why waste the time?

Anyway, those of you who pray can pray for me. I will greatly appreciate it!

Oh, and in case any of my Leftwing nutcase friends think this means they will get a respite from my regular tongue-lashing, no luck. I will still be here to be the quintessential thorn in your flesh. ;)
