Coburn has all the attributes you describe. I am left wondering why Ron Paul is so astutely avoided in your comparisons.
Not really. He simply shows the Republicans their lack of real conservatism, and is hated for it.
I don't think RP would/should stoop to being a VP candidate, but you never know. It might be just the answer to bring his supporters {and their money} to the table.
About Tom Coburn I, like Rev.Paul, haven't heard that much from him, but I like what I've seen and heard so far. Right now he is miles above all the other clowns likely to be involved, but I do like Sarah Palin as a good conservatative candidate with real .gov experience. I have yet to get over her resigning the governorship.
