When I read the following information my first reaction was that the NRA has lost its mind. Their endorsement of Reid is asinine and calls into serious question their trustworthiness for liberty-issues.

It is time for thinking conservatives to take a new look at whether or not they wish to be associated with an organization that promotes and endorses Leftwing nutcases who are clearly the enemies of liberty.

I could be way off on this observation but, I think Wayne has turned his priorities from supporting our gun rights to supporting his bank account, without compromise.
Until there is a change in management, I'm not going to renew my membership. I'll continue to support the GOA and JPFO.

I don't think you're way off at all. You hit the nail on the head. The NRA regularly cuts deals with the devil. And when you do that, you will have hell to pay in the end. This is exactly what is happening to the NRA. By supporting Leftist politicians merely because they agree to push a few pieces of legislation the NRA wants, they actually undercut their own goals when those very politicians turn right around and support Elena Kegan, Barack Obama, cap and trade, ObamaCare, and other such nonsense that actually RESTRICTS the rights of the people. I want no part of such an organization and will do all in my power to speak and work against it.
