All guns and politics, from the best gun rights-and-liberty bloggers on the Internet!
David Codrea announces the big news that the U.S. Supreme Court has REVERSED the Chicago Gun Ban!! Thus, SCOTUS has decided one in favor of individual rights as mandated by the U.S. Constitution. Folks, this win is a MAJOR victory not only for the gun rights community but for liberty itself.
Alphecca has more on the Supreme Court ruling.
Days of our Trailers notes that the wailing and gnashing of teeth has begun by the anti-gun bigots in response to the ruling. What really sticks in their craw is that the Supreme Court ruled that the 2nd Amendment applies to state and local governments! ROFL!! Good.
Tam says that there is now a very sad clown up in Chicago as a result of this ruling.
KC3 notes that in the Court's decision, the 14 Amendment does, indeed, incorporate the 2nd Amendment, meaning it has broad applications across all governmental entities, as do our other rights.
21 Guns Salute posts a VERY important video on the truth of what's happening along the southern border in Arizona. Watch it!
From the Barrel of a Gun reports that the NRA--that bastion of compromising sellouts--has ordered its people not to comment on the nomination of gun-hater Elena Kagan for the Supreme Court, nor to testify against her at her hearings. WHAT!!!??? If there were ever a clearer example of what the NRA SHOULD be screaming bloody murder about, it is this nominee, who is a direct threat to free speech, the military, and gun rights, just to name a few. I have about concluded that not only is the NRA ineffective but now part of the ENEMY! This is absolutely insane.
Brigid says she's 'getting off the grid.'
Western Rifle Shooters Association reports that just like a freakin' government elitist with an attitude, Joe Biden got snarky with a business owner who told him she needed her taxes reduced. Read it all.
Around O-Town points out that ABC News conveniently leaves out any mention of firearms in its report on 'the end of the world as we know it.' A GLARING omission!
