A First-Hand Account of a Peaceful, Armed Rally in Washington, D.C.

In one accord, everyone who attended the 2 rallies in Washington yesterday report success.  Perhaps the greatest success of all is the fact that the armed demonstration on the Potomac, across from D.C., shows Americans that gun owners, even those who carry openly, are peaceful people who promote non-violence through the symbols of self-defense, i.e., firearms.

When violent thugs and oppressive would-be slavemasters see that the citizenry is armed, a signal is sent that crime and government oppression will not be tolerated.  This is good.

David Codrea has a complete report from the scene itself on yesterday's historic gatherings.

Congratulations to the organizers and participants!

Armed rally, open carrying - no news interest.

Open carry now normalized!
