Some Good Advice for the Tea Party Movement

In order to prevent the Tea Party movement from being usurped by RINOS and 'progressives' masquerading as conservatives, here is some excellent advice.

We should force any candidate who expects to receive the support of the Tea Party to prove they support the Second Amendment as is--free and clear of any expectation of so-called 'reasonable gun control.'

Once a candidate begins to spout those words, 'reasonable restrictions' or 'reasonable gun control' while claiming to be all for gun rights, we know immediately they are lying.

Such persons should NOT receive the support of the Tea Party.  Mitt Romney, by the way, is the perfect example.

What about the ability for a state to restrict guns to felons or mental defects? Surely the state's have some responsibilities to regulate?

I am absolutely Pro-gun, but your statement may need some minor clarifications lest you become marginalized.

An inalienable right specified in the Constitution always trumps any state law...or that was the way it was intended until the sytsem was corrupted.

And, frankly, I am getting quite sick of this constant threat of being 'marginalized.' This is usually spoken by the spineless who refuse to lift a finger against government encroachment upon our rights.

Given that being in the 'mainstream' got us in the present predicament in this country, those who spout this 'marginalization' nonsense can take their pragmatism and shove it.
