Since WHEN is "hiding facts" standard procedure?

Doing so undermines the entire structure and philosophy of scientific research.

If hiding facts were truely standard procedure, then we would still be living in the days of the Divine Right of Kings, who would be able to hide any scientific facts that displeased them with the stroke of the headsman's axe.

This ersatz "man" is nothing but a political tool, and needs to be banned from all labs that wish to maintain their credibility.
