Second Amendment News Roundup for 1/13/2010

Focusing on guns, politics, and news of interest, here is today's Second Amendment News Roundup:

CNS is reporting that the latest Gallup Poll finds that 58% of Americans OPPOSE ObamaCare while only 37% approve.

Conservative Libertarian Outpost provides a GOA alert concerning Scott Brown in Massachusetts and the ObamaCare bill.

Brigid has another good one today entitled, 'Open Road.'

Gun Nuts posts the wrap-up and downloads from last night's edition of Gun Nuts Radio.

Pax Parabellum reports that Google is so miffed at China over a hacking issue that they may pull out of the country altogether. Good! Maybe now the eggheads at Google will wake up to the facts about Communism.

Vanderboegh notes that the alert he sent out and which I posted in the Roundup yesterday concerning a new Obama executive order was a false alarm. And while this one turned out to be nothing, there is certainly enough 'O' is doing in other areas to cause much consternation.

From Tam: 'The swaggering arrogance is simply breathtaking...'

Sebastian has an interesting post on the Webley Mark IV .38 S&W.

Of Arms and the Law presents David Hardy's excellent review of Justice Stevens' dissent in the Heller case.

Kurt Hofmann wonders if we are wrong in the manner we are going about 'licensed' defensive handgun carry.

From Codrea's Gun Rights Examiner: 'Inaccurate ATF Records Endanger Gun Owners.'

David also reports that Chuck Norris says he has figured out why Obama amended a Reagan executive order concerning INTERPOL. Very interesting theory! Read it all.

The Wandering Minstrel posts a photo of a Carbine with a grenade launcher. Now that is one mean machine right there.

Way Up North has the must-read quote of the day from James Madison on enumerated powers.

Walls of the City provides some excellent photos of a vintage Model 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Rifle.

Western Rifle Shooters Association gives us the goods on Obama, pointing to a Horowitz series demonstrating that 'O' is following the Saul Alinksy model (Rules for Radicals) almost word-for-word.
