In a stunning development of historic proportions, the major polling firms in the U.S. are reporting that Barack Obama's public approval rating has fallen to historic lows.
Earlier in the week, Gallup reported that Obama's approval rating is now at the lowest level of any President at this particular juncture in his administration since such records have been kept.
And today, pollster Scott Rasmussen reports that for 2 straight days Obama's approval rating has plummeted to new lows.
While only 23% strongly approve of Obama's job performance, 42% strongly disapprove, giving the President a net approval index rating of -19.
The previous record low for this President was -15.
