Claire McCaskill, the Missouri Democrat who has often referred to Tea Party and Town Hall Meeting protesters in derogatory terms, is one of the Village Idiots.
As a staunch proponent of the government takeover of healthcare, the Senator refuses to answer questions about the plan and often hides from her constituents who merely wish to make their views known to their elected official.
When CODE RED protesters showed up at McCaskill's St. Louis office yesterday, the Senator was nowhere in sight and even maintained a very low profile in Washington.
No matter, though. When confronted by her constituents, McCaskill's standard response is that 'she doesn't understand these people.'
