Second Amendment News Roundup for 7/1/09

Focusing on guns, politics, and news of interest, here is today's Second Amendment News Roundup:

Kurt Hofmann reports that the Brady Campaign admits proposed gun laws deny due process, but they don't care.

Conservative Libertarian Outpost reminds us that Cap and Trade is a failure on all counts. Remember to contact your Senators to tell them you oppose the bill.

Texas Fred posts the opposing viewpoint on 'call in conservative' day on July 30. A personal word--the plan was not mine, nor did I have a hand in planning it. I reported it. Obviously there are problems with the plan as it now stands. But with some important adjustments, I can see it working well.

Now this is just a guess, based on what I know of Sebastian's lack of character and courage, but I suspect his answer to the question would be to engage in extreme pragmatism. Never saying anything that would insult or displease those who are out of control. Also, the public castigation and denigration of anyone who does say anything unpleasant to the ear of those out of control.

Oh, yeah, and running away from conversation about any of it and accusing everybody of threatening him if they don't agree with him and help him kiss ass.

Of course, I could be wrong. I'm just going on what I personally know of him.

I believe it would behoove anyone who really thinks our government and some of its agencies are out of control to look elsewhere for honesty in addressing the situation. Ever heard of a Judas goat?
