3 turncoat Republicans gave Obama and the Democrats the number they needed to reach the 60 votes necessary to pass the 'economic stimulus bill.'
Had these 3 scumbags--Arlen Specter, Olympia Snowe, and Susan Collins--not voted in favor of the bill, the entire thing would have been defeated.
We are so screwed.
The bill now goes back to the House where negotiations will ensue that attempt to reconcile the differences between the House and Senate versions of the bill. We can expect more pork to be added back in.
I hope Obama supporters are prepared for the unmitigated disaster that is coming as a result of this unconscionable confiscation of taxpayers' money.

Here are some interesting thoughts. Far too many have said this Stimulus bill will not fix things. The CBO said it will make things worse. So, why the rush? In the words of Rahm Emmanuel "Never miss the chance to take advantage of a crisis." If things worsen, The Great and Powerful Obama will only request, and get more authority to control more and more of the economy.
Exactly. "Stimulating the economy" is nothing more than a convenient ruse by which to usher in Socialism.
