We, the taxpayers, have just been screwed. The stimulus package Obama and House Democrats approved contains relatively little money for 'new jobs' or anything else that will help the economy in the short term.
Instead, there are multi-billions in pork aimed at financing programs that will help Obama and the Democrats get re-elected in 2012. The devil is in the details. But it's all there for anyone inclined to read it.
Thus, unless the Senate puts a stop to this sham, we as citizens may as well drop 'em, bend over, and grab 'em.
But we can flip Obama the bird as we do so.
