I am an unabashed revolver fan, and only S&W revolvers do it for me. My favorite weapon in the world is my Model 686 purchased in Feb 1994. That thing has accompanied me into some seriously bad areas over my years as a peace officer and in private security and I NEVER felt under gunned. I stopped counting at 15k rounds down range, thankfully none expended in anger. You may think it strange, but the affection I have for that revolver is akin to the affection I have for my favorite pets -- that revolver is a member of my family.
