Echoing the sentiments of Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, who stated that the economic crisis is a perfect opportunity for Liberals to seize power and expand government control over the economy, Russian Communists stated on Sunday that 'crisis will help us regain power.'
Despite the breakup of the old Soviet Union, which sent the Communists into political exile, the Russian Commies didn't really go anywhere.
Instead, they have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to seize power and regain control of the country.
This is always the modus operandi of Leftists, Socialists, and Communists. Economic disaster is never viewed as a sad source of pain for the citizens but as a delightful, golden opportunity to seize more power.
We have seen it with the likes of Barack Obama and his minions, and now we are seeing it with the old Soviet Commies.

They never lost control. The fact that the KGB/FSB controlled the country was carefully hid behind Perestroika and Glasnost. It was all designed to lead the West into believing a lie so Communism could gain the upper hand for the final conflict — which is now upon us.
Perhaps in reality they never lost control. But there was a brief moment in time, under Boris Yeltsin, that the Commies did not have the upper hand.
But once Yeltsin was gone and a KGB man, Vladamir Putin, came to power, all of that changed.
According to all the sources I have, Yeltsin was KGB also.
Drunk KGB, but KGB nonetheless.
Did you ever read James Michener's, The Bridge at Andau?
The level of personal, individual spying described therein is unbelievable, and it really only touched the tip of the iceberg. In the system of slavery brought about under communism, people will do whatever to protect and feed their families, including spying on each other, protesting on command, street demonstrations, etc., all the while not understanding that they are being used as "props" and pawns to effect a certain image, that really doesn't exist.
That is why false front, and false opposition movements were (and are) created by the security services, so as to draw in individuals that are disposed to resist the regime, thus effectively disrupting and nullifying any real, organized opposition to those in power (i.e. NRA?). The creation of false opposition also serves the purpose of unifying a majority of the country behind the regime in power as it plays on the part of human nature that is drawn to take sides in a conflict. It is only the leaders of the false opposition that understand and know what is going on, the rest are dupes who have no real understanding of how they are being used. Moreover, since they are predisposed to resist the regime, when their usefulness is ended, they are "got rid of" or "disappeared" in some fashion that suits the propaganda purposes of the moment.
"Dollar to a hole in a donut" quite a number of the "protesters" that helped Yeltsin achieve the "revolution" have disappeared since then. They did so either without a trace, or died under strange circumstances that were never investigated. In any case, they were ID'ed as opponents of the regime, and when the time was appropriate, they were done away with.
