More Corruption Surfaces Among Congressional Dems

Washington, DC (TLS). With each passing day more corruption among the Democrat majority in Congress comes to light. Right out of the starting gate, Pelosi and Reid have put together one of the most corrupt Congressional classes in history, despite promises of 'open, ethical government.'

With severely ethically challenged characters such as Conyers, Leahy, Reid, Murtha, Biden, Pelosi, and many others running the show, it is hardly a surprise that these self-righteous hyprocrites would place their own kind in positions of power.

Now we have yet another ethically challenged Congressman to worry about. Representative Alan Mollohan, D-WV, is the new Chairman of the panel that determines the budget of the FBI. Low and behold, Mollohan is himself the subject of an FBI investigation for allegedly personally benefiting from the distribution of federal funds--a violation of the law.

Mollohan is under investigation by the FBI. He will determine the FBI budget. Does anyone notice any conflict of interest?

In the CNS News Report below, you will see how Mollohan's appointment as Chair of this panel is beginning to backfire. It's about time. There is more sleaze dripping all over Capitol Hill now than we have seen in many, many years.

(CNSNews.com) - Rep. Alan Mollohan (D-W.Va.), the new chairman of the panel that determines the budget of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, has promised to recuse himself from matters related to the FBI while he remains under FBI investigation, but the attempt to fend off criticism of his appointment appeared to have backfired.

The FBI is examining charges that Mollohan illegally benefited from distribution of federal funds.

On Wednesday, Mollohan was selected to head the House Appropriations Committee's subcommittee for Science, State, Justice, Commerce and Related Agencies, which oversees the Department of Justice, including the FBI.
