Caroline Glick on the War in Iraq, the War on Israel

Washington, DC (TLS). One of the world's foremost authorities on the Middle East, Israel, and the Global Jihad, Caroline Glick, has shown how the War in Iraq is directly tied to the War on Israel being waged by the Islamic world.

Most Americans, unfortunately, see no connection between the two. Rather, the general public has bought into the sound-byte rhetoric of anti-war extremists who attempt to deceive the public into believing that the outcome of the conflict in Iraq will have no ominous, widespread consequences for the entire Middle East, as well as placing Israel in the precarious position of having to defend itself from an even stronger extremist Jihad force, perpetrated by Iran, Syria, and Egypt.

Glick correctly points out that Iraq cannot be accurately seen in a vacuum but viewed only within the context of the broader war waged by Islamic Jihadists who wish to annihilate Israel.
