Nall Gets Good Press in Alabama, Sets Record Straight

Alabama Libertarian Loretta Nall's campaign for Governor got a major boost in the state today with a story that appeared in the Tuscaloosa Times. The Times covered Nall's campaign appearance and speech at the University of Alabama on Friday.

This good news. It's about time the candidate got a fair shake in the Alabama Press.

The reprinted story can be found on Nall's website at:

In addition, Nall sets the record straight concerning the news stories popping up around the country that tend to focus on her looks rather than her platform. She details the negative remarks of a columnist in Alabama and her turning the negative into a positive. In fact, Nall's entire campaign has been largely positive, avoiding the mud slinging and character assassination that is so common with political campaigns these days.

Nall also reports that she will be a guest on NBC's Today show in the near future.

Once again, you can find this and other updated information on Nall's website.

Loretta Nall is the only Alabama gubernatorial candidate who had the common courtesy to reply to me when I asked them all if they would support the proposition of helping Alabama become the 25th Initiative and Referendum (I&R) state. She replied in the affirmative on the same day I asked her by email, and she led off her first stump speech by talking of her support, and the need for, I&R. Since then I've met her in person and she is what I would call a "real deal", being just an ordinary down-to-earth but very intelligent young lady who talks straight and has some unique ideas on how to correct some of the problems facing our state.

Don,

This is the primary reason for my support, and the reason why I have given a great amoung of time and space to Nall on this website. Her genuineness is refreshing in the realm of politics.

In addition, while there are aspects of her platform with which I do not agree, there is plenty enough there that I like. Her sensible approach to drug reform, the 2nd Amendment, bio-diesal development, and education provides the voter with clear dinstinctions between Nall and other candidates.
