A very meaningful Easter to you....

"Worthy is the Lamb that was slain and hath redeemed us to God by His blood..." (Excerpt from Handel's Messiah).

May your Easter be a meaningful one as you contemplate the fact that Christ died for you, shedding His blood on a cruel Roman cross. That in itself is enough to celebrate. But God goes further. On the third day after having been found guilty of false charges, it would seem that it was all over for Christ, His disciples, and Christianity. God, however, specializes in doing what seems impossible and makes a way where there is no way. Christ rose from the dead on the 3rd day after having been crucified and buried. Thus, our sins are forgiven. The past is wiped clean. We are given a brand new start. And even death has no power over us because Christ conquered it. This does not mean we do not die. It means that even in death we are triumphant because Christ made it possible.

Happy Easter!
