But as time has passed since the early 1900s, the violations of the spirit and letter of the Constitution have only intensified. Gun rights have been targeted with a vengeance. So have private property rights. The freedom of religious expression has been restricted. The press is now nothing more than the mouthpiece of the Administration, failing to do the most elementary tasks of the media in a free society. Freedom of speech has been rolled back with the "politically correct" movement that has muzzled the free and plain exchange of ideas. And freedom of assembly is now a joke as police departments enforce illegal "free speech zones"...
