Some Bimbo

OK, so some bimbo sends me a comment concerning guns and men that I refused to post. But I am going to tell you about, if for no other reason than to highlight the sheer ignorance of it.

The bimbo stated in explicit terms (which I will not use here) that the reason male shooters love their handguns so much is that it is our attempt to make up for what we lack below the belt, i.e., the 'male member.'

Now, we shooters, both male and female, have heard this balderdash before. I wonder what the bimbo thinks about all of the female shooters out there, given that they don't have a 'male member.'

That point aside, I would like to take this opportunity to point out something to all such ignoramuses like the bimbo. Rather than our handguns being an attempt to make up for something we lack, I believe that our handguns reflect our sexuality.

This is why one of my favorite handguns in my arsenal is the .357 Mag. And it doesn't shoot blanks, either....

The "psychology" behind such thinking is absurd, to say the least. If memory serves GOA has a position paper dealing with this that was written by a Clinical Psychologist.

Unfortunately, Patrick, absurdity makes no difference to these people. Rationality or irrationality are non-issues.

Maybe us gals have "member" envy :) How irrational that person is!

Lisa,

Ha! I wouldn't be surprised if those of that particular mindset would actually try to foist that explanation of female shooters.

BTW, I saw your website. Excellent!

Thanks for stopping by.

Yup, it's true. We have a bunch of guns because we have tiny penises. And she has breasts because if she didn't no one would talk to her.

If we're going to go with myths, let's go with all of them.

I wonder how she would explain the popularity of the 2" Barreled J Frame revolver then?

That's easy.

If you are ashamed of the size of your member and envious of others, then you compensate by getting a medium to large sized pistol.

If you are ashamed of the size of your member but not envious of others, then you compensate by getting a small or snubby pistol.

So basically in the minds of the bimbo and friends, if you own a gun then you are compensating for something.

Well, she's at least a little bit correct with regards to having a handgun to make up for something I lack.

I lack the ability the fend off multiple attackers while unarmed, which is exactly why I carry.

Men who are anti-gun obviously have vagina envy.
